What to Wear Wednesday! a modern, classic family look

Have you starting thinking about getting family pictures taken for all of your holiday needs? I hate to be the one to say it, but summer is quickly coming to an end and Christmas will be here before we know it… the time is now, my friends!

Today’s style guide has outfits that are comfy yet a little on the formal side. A little bit country, a little bit rock ‘n’ roll, if you will. I hope you find inspiration in these outfits (and don’t forget to call me to get your session booked!)

The A family – a fabulous end of summer outdoor session in Salem

I am so blessed to be able to have sessions with such fun and beautiful people, and the A family was no exception! Little brother B gave me a run for my money with his serious expressions. Grumpiness is the only downfall to shooting in the beautiful light of late summer evenings,  but I think we were still able to capture some of his precious expressions. Gina, I still have more for you, but knew you were probably getting anxious so I wanted to get these posted for you. I hope you love them! 🙂

Fall color forecast: What to Wear Wedn…ursday!

Being in the woods and away from the internet for an entire week last week has really thrown off my schedule. However, I am happy to report that I am getting back on track (now if only I could kick this silly summer cold, I’d be golden!)

For this weeks board I was inspired by the “fall 2011 color forecast” put out by Pantone. (If you aren’t familiar with Pantone, its a color system that is used a lot in printing/fashion/etc. to ensure that colors are uniform. Geeky that I know this & refer to it, right? 🙂 Anyway, the color forecast had gorgeous chocolate and teal tones and I was whisked away. Enjoy!
